How to ignore expired certificate in service app?

I have MSI ODD monitor "NTIOLib_X64" that has an expired certificateThe app monitors a switch on the Dell desktop and if the switch is pressed the DVD is ejected from the ODD.The ODD is slot type so there is NO built in physical button to eject the DVD.It is convenient to use the button to eject and not have to bring up the file explorer, find the ODD and click on "eject"Is there any way to mark the app as safe to run even if the cert expired? Mark it trusted somehow?Can the app be run from the task scheduler at startup instead of as a service?The app runs fine in window 10 and pressing the b
