How to get HDR video streaming to work?

I'm trying to enable HDR video streaming, the setting page says that it is supported, and the display meets the requirements listed in the support page, but when i try to enable it, the preview doesn't change, and if i change any other setting, like the SDR brightness, the HDR video streaming switch turns off.I've tried, disabling and re-enabling HDR, restarting my PC, running my display at deferent refresh rates, manually altering the HDR registry using command prompt, and switching between RGB, YCbCr444, and YCbCr422 color formats.
