How to fix network adapter for LAN?

Wi-fi works fine, but when I connect the ethernet cable via USB-C adapter to my Asus laptop, it doesn't recognize anything. I've tried resolving this problem and uninstalled Relatek network adapter. But when trying to Scan for hardware devices, it doesn't show again. I checked the cable and hardware stuff. I've installed the LAN driver again but the network adapter doesn't show.
