How to fix laptop stuck in recovery mode?

I meant to revert a update that fixes bugs and such because it was messing up my art program where it wouldn’t launch.I mistook feature update for the bug fixing thing and I’m stuck in recovering to previous version of windows.I can’t launch the troubleshoot repair window and can only access the window that shows up when clicking the F2 key.I’m only hoping it’ll just be loading for a few hours and fix itself but I don’t think it will and need help.I don’t wanna get a new computer cuz I don’t have a lot of stuff backed up.
