How to fix a no cursor black screen after trying all provided options?

I am running a desktop machine that is suffering a constant unresponsive black screen just after the Window's logo on bootup. On a secondary drive I have booted up another version of windows copied from a laptop and have access to all previous files but I still cannot get my original version of windows to boot.
