How to download Kodak verite 55 plus printer software

I am trying to download printer software for a kodak verite 55 plus printer on windows 10. I had this before and it worked fine for awhile then quit. I uninstalled it and now cant get it installed again. I keep getting "error occurred in the download of driver file." I contacted kodak as this seems to be a kodak error not a windows error, and they were no help. They told me to turn off antivirus and firewall and try again and if that does not work to contact Microsoft. I turned off firewall and got same error message.
