How to disable auto switching of new audio device

[Windows 10]

Hi,I'm a happy owner of VR googles but each time I turn them on and pair with the PC the default audio device switches to the googles.Since I'm using Voicemeter as a system mixer and I have to restart them each time when I put them off it is quite annoying.Can I disable that feature somehow so that when I plug-in my VR googles the audio input and output would stay the same ?
