How to cure the "You'll need a new app to open this windowsdefender link" error in Windows 11 security.

Running Win11 Home, version 21H2, OS build 22000.527. I receive subject error message when I try to open antivirus info (or anything on the Privacy and Security page, for that matter). When I search for this on the web, the newest solutions are dated from fall of 2021 and seem to be for Win11 beta; they fail when I try to run them in Powershell.Very disappointing if Win11 is supposed to be a production piece of software. How do I get this to work?Thanks,Dale
