If I open regedit and try to add a key, I get access denied. When I then run regedit ad administrator, the current user changes and I cannot amend the registry for the user currently logged into windows. How do I amend the registry of a user who is logged in, who is not an administrator, or how do I stop the registry switching to an entirely different profile, when I give it the admin password?Failing this, how do I make a change in regedit that effects ALL users of the machine, without having to go into every single one of them?
