How to access windows mail (offline) - popup saying windows mail is no longer supported is blocking that?

I like to use Windows Mail offline so I can read my old mails (actually I use Outlook classic). But when I start Windows Mails I always get a popup page telling me that Windows mails is no longer supported, what I already know, and that I should export my local mail data. But this is not working correct. I just like to keep Windows Mail like an container for my old mails which I have downloades from the webmail server and otherwise I use outlook. The downloaded mails are no longer available on the provider side, they are just local accessible. But because of this popup window I can see my mail
