How to access Onedrive on my laptop without syncing the desktop screen

I have onedrive on my desktop PC and want to access it on my laptop but it clutters my laptops desktop screen when synced.is there anyway to avoid this without having to go through the web browser? i switch between the two computers but dont want my laptop to be cluttered with stuff on the desktop screen from my other PC.
