How reset a password on a computer that has dropped off my MS account?

Desktop computer purchased 2023. Windows 11. Was using the computer before going to bed. In the morning, I put in my password correctly and it said it was wrong. This computer has a different password to login from other devices on the same MS account. Signed into my MS account on another computer and showed the list of devices, and the problem device is not listed. Do I have to first get it added again - how? And then reset the password - how? Thanks
