Hello!I bought a new laptop a few months ago and want to know how to transfer files from my old one. I thought that a double ended USB cable could do it, then read online that an Ethernet/LAN cable could do it. I ordered an Ethernet cable and a USB adapter that arrived today. I connected my laptops with the cable but didn't see anything new in File Explorer, under Computer, so apparently there is more that needs to be done. Can someone please give me a step-by-step guide on what I need to do?
