"How do you stop the screen from freezing and having a lag when it comes to connecting my PC, or laptop to my TV?

When I connect my laptop to my television via HDMI cord, the screen will come on but then will sit for 3-5 minutes and just be frozen. Then afterwards it starts up again only to then freezes on both my laptop and my television, but you can still hear the DD squad and what they would have to say about that. \This has never happened before until just recently when i downloaded the Windows 11 Insider Update, and then after I was done downloading, and installing the update, this issue came out of nowhere. How can we fix this, and fix it quickly?Thank You for all of your well needed help, and hope
