Hello World...
This morning my laptop wouldn’t boot past the BIOS screen.
Eventually I discovered that there is only a windows upgrade directory on the c: drive ....
There is no windows folder at all.
Amazing ... it was all there last night.
Why that might have happened is another question.
My USB recovery drive will not reinstall windows 10 with the keep my apps option because the drive is locked. I have tried eight or so options supposed to inlock it and none work.
The USB recovery drive won’t perform an installation of windows overwriting everything again because it says the drive is locked, and I cannot find a serting in the BIOS to unlock it. I have done that on a different laptop but can’t resolve it on this one.
What is the point of these repair Wimdows 10 options on the USB recovery drive one begins to wonder ...

My question is how do I use the command prompt, that the USB recovery drive advanced options gives me access to, to recover my laptop from the built in Recovery drive D, please ?
