How do I sync changes of Excel file between the desktops Excel version (Office 2019, Windows 10) and OneDrive Excel version?

Hello,I received an email from an outside person (who I know and trust) with a link to an Excel file in Onve Drive. I want to see this file in my OneDrive folder in Windows 10 that I have on my computer, and I want to open the file in the Excel version I have on my desktop and make changes to it. I also wish these changes were seen on the OneDrive version of the Excel file so the person who shares the file with me can see them, too. Could you explain the steps I need to take to complete this process? There are other people simultaneously making changes to the file. How can my changes be incorp
