how do i stop my wallpaper from changing to black?

hi, i’ve got a surface laptop 3 which i bought in december 2023; the main problem is, since i’ve got it, every time i turn it off or reset it (when it comes to updates and all) the wallpaper changes from the one i have to a black one. the saving screen remains the same but the main one changes. i don’t really know how to stop that from happening, it doesn’t affect the system and i understand is not THAT deep since everything else works perfectly but i would like to know if it’s happening because of something i haven’t done correctly.
