how do i stop my phone from automatically connecting to my windows 11 pc?

I used to love the phone link on my old windows 10 desktop, but not so much on my new windows 11. whether i am on my smartwatch, or buds, or wanting to use my phone in a call, my computer keeps grabbing the call. i want it as an option, but not a must for every single call. also, when i use that feature on the computer, the little box that shows up on the screen cannot be hidden, minimized or closed. i have to leave it on the screen and keep moving it out of the way. this will not work for me. so if i can't choose anymore, then i will need to know how to remove that ability from my computer.
