How do I restore back my downloads

Hi, I just added a new disk drive to my computer and accidentally moved the downloads location to the new drive, when I try to undo my error, it doesnt work and says "failed to builta list of regular subdirectories under "D:/System Volume Information". Access is denied." How do I solve this?
