I had been having trouble with Windows updates and no solution was working. So, I decided to do a clean install of Windows. Before doing this I made a backup of my important files using 2 different hard drives, one using PC Mover from LapLink on an external drive and an other using the backup system that comes with Windows on my secondary drive. Everything went well and I was able to restore my pc to near pefect accuarcy to how it was before, except for the outlook pst file, which was apparently only backed up using the windows back up system.
