How do I remove the intrusive Copilot that has suddenly appeared in Outlook?

Hi, I use Outlook daily, and suddenly I'm confronted with a wretched device that wants to tell me how to write a reply to an email. It also appears as an icon in an otherwise empty banner across the top of my email screen. It's called copilot, apparently, and is nothing but a nuisance to me. How do I remove this unwanted and extremely annoying intrusion, please?
