How do I remove family safety from windows 7

A "Windows Live Family Safety" login box keeps popping up. I enter my microsoft password & it says it can't access the internet (even though I am on it & sending this question right now). How do I turn this safety feature off? All of my kids have grown and moved out of the house. I am still on Windows 7. Please help me get this "feature" off of my computer as it's constantly popping up (like 50 times/hour!).
