How do I recover my sticky note, after application kept shutting down?

I tried to open my sticky notes and saw the one I needed but the application kept shutting down. After reopening it about 3-4 times, the application finally opened. But to my surprise the same note that kept popping up and shutting down had disappeared. How would I go about recovering the note? I've tried many methods including recovering the plum file and checking outlook deletion folder which was empty.
