How do I install Minecraft?

First, I know how to install Minecraft, but for some reason, I cannot install it now. When I install it from the Minecraft website it does its normal thing but right now it is getting stuck with the Microsoft Store. The Microsoft Store is causing issues from what I understand since it is busy trying to "install" Minecraft, but I have stopped the installation and removed it from my computer but Microsoft Store DEMANDS that it is still on my system and won't let me cancel it. Any ideas on how to fix this?
