Just updated my very old Toshiba laptop and absolutely hate the new photos programme! I'm trying to edit photos for a funeral and am having to work between the old and new laptops via external hard drive. I really, really do not like the new photo editing programme. Is there a way to get the old one, just like you can choose to use the new or old Outlook?

Yes, the old photo editing program can potentially be installed if it is still available. Here are some steps to take:

  1. Check for Installation Files:
    • If the user has the original installation files or disk for the old program, they can reinstall it directly.
  2. Look for Backup:
    • If the user had previously backed up their system or files, they might find the old program in the backup.
  3. Download from Trusted Sources:
    • The user can search for the old photo editing software online. Ensure to download from reputable sources to avoid malware.
  4. Use Windows Features:
    • If the old program was part of a previous Windows version, the user might find it in the Windows Features settings. They can enable it if available.
  5. Seek Alternatives:
    • If the exact old version is not available, consider looking for similar programs that replicate the features of the old software.
  6. Contact Support:
    • If the program was a Microsoft product, contacting Microsoft support might provide options for obtaining the old version.
