How do I go about fixing error code 0x80070002?

I'm trying to update my laptop, an HP to Windows 11, version 23H2 as it keeps asking me to.When I try to do this, it installs to 50% then seems to stop and say that it's failed. I've got little to no knowledge on how to fix this issue and I don't want to end up bricking and losing my data trying to do this myself. This isn't the first time this has happened although but I've chosen to ignore it in the past.I've read through other forums and help pages but I don't want to start doing something that could be solved simply.
