How do I get Windows 11 to start up the correct programs in the correct desktops upon restart?

The concept of multiple desktops in Windows 11 is great, but Microsoft seems to not have thought of something important, namely, having windows restart applications in their appropriate desktop upon the unavoidable update restarts (arghhh!!!). How do I get Windows to start up the correct windows for Chrome in one desktop (e.g., my work tabs), and the correct windows for Chrome in another desktop (e.g., my personal tabs). This goes for any other program, e.g., Word, Matlab...
