How do I get shared files from internet shortcuts to available locally files?

My OneDrive stopped syncing shared files to my pc. All my files from my Personal space were synced as locally available files, but just stopped one day without warning or any notifications.After I had signed out and back into my account again, it got stuck on "looking for changes". I repeated the process, then it got stuck on "preparing to upload". I reset my account, which fixed the getting stuck, but then synced my shared files to internet shortcut links. I could not get them to be available locally again. They are now completely missing from my Personal space (both online & on my pc) an
