How do I get my Samsung phone to connect to my pc?

Hello:I have a Win10 pc, and I just got a new Samsung A25 phone.I plugged in my USB cable to move some photos off my phone onto my pc, but it isn't connecting. Nothing shows a connection on my computer, and I can't find anything on the phone that has to do with connecting to a computer.The only thing I find is that "Link" app, which does not work. It keeps asking me for some kind of "HELLO" password. I've never had this show up before. And my pc states that this "HELLO" feature is unavailable.So, how do I link my Samsung phone to my pc?Thanks
