How do i get back to my normal log in with my normal pin?

The message "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click below to reset pin". But when i click it, it flashes for a second and then nothing happens. So I'm stuck in the log in screen. The last thing I was doing before this happened is; I was trying to restore my pc to before an update because my pc was crashing. I booted into safe mode and a warning popped saying something about needing my encryption key. I noted it down and tried to restore it. At this point, im not even sure if it restored.
