how do i fix this input lag on my laptop

Just to reiterate im on laptop (asus tuf a15 with a 3050 gpu if that info is needed) so the keyboard is connected to it all, my mouse is usb connected Recently when playing any game i have been having really terrible responsiveness on my keys. For instance when moving around with wasd and if im holding d and then let go, itll keep holding d for a second or two extra. I have tried turning off filter keys, uninstalling the most recently windows update and nothing seems to work, this is happening on minecraft and valorant.
