how do i fix "the app you are trying to install isn't a Microsoft-verified app"

i am trying to open a application i installed and every time i try and open it it says that the app you are trying to install isn't a Microsoft-verified app, i have looked at other tutorials as to how to fix and they say to change where to get apps from, however they say that it is a setting in apps>advanced apps and features, in my settings i do not have advanced apps and features, i have searched how to fix not being able to see them but most say to make sure you do not have the windows S version, but my windows version is Windows 10 Home, please help
