How do i fix my windows not updating

So i have a windows updates available and i have been trying to make it install it but no success.The updates are downloading then i restart my computer so they can apply and install and when the system reboots nothing changes.I also cannot open My PC window nor any folder, as it tries to open it just lags flashes and the procceds to close immediatlyAny help or suggestion on what i should do ?I
