How do I fix chrome closing when it is not the focused app?

I got my laptop (MSI Stealth 14) in summer of 2023 and I used to be able to have chome up on one monitor while having another app being focused on my main monitor. Recently, I have not been able to do so, as after a few minutes chrome closes on its own while I am in another app. How can I fix this?
