How do I fix audio popping and glitching?

Hello, The audio on my computer keeps popping and when a new audio sound plays, part of the previous one plays for a split second.For example, if I watch a youtube video and then stop it and then go to play a video game part of the videos audio will play before the games audio for less than a second. (if I watch a video after playing a game, the same thing happens but with the roles switched)This also happens regardless if headphones are plugged in or not.It is very annoying and has been happening for about a week now.I've already tried updating windows and audio drivers. What else should I tr
