How do I deactivate any internet-related search from my Search tool on the applications bar?

Dear all,I would like my search tool on my applications bar to be exclusively off-the-web to look for my own files in my computer. How do I do this? I have searched "options" but they don't seem to list what I want. The search tool works very poorly, because it hardly finds what I need even when I type in 80% of a file's name, and instead floods me with useless, irritating guesses that link me to an internet browser. I wanted to talk to a technician, but can't find a way to! This is not good costumer support.I hope someone can help.Kind regards
