How do I clone my Windows 10 installation from a larger HDD to a smaller SSD?

Hi,Today I bought a new SSD (240GB), and installed it alongside my preexisting HDD (1TB). My hope was to move my Windows 10 installation to the SSD for faster loading times. For this, I installed a third-party cloning tool (DiskGenius). However, the app requires that the destination drive be smaller than or equal in size to the source drive, which is not the case here. When I went to shrink my HDD's partition size to below the size of the SSD, to make it fit, Disk Management would not let me reduce the partition size to less than ~446GB, too much to fit on my SSD.
