How do i change name on a welcome screen?

I am signed in to my windows account and when open my pc, it shows my whole name, i want it to only show my pc usernameI tried changing via control pannel but it doesnt show the optionHowever, compared to my old windows 11, it has the change username optionBoth are signed it to Microsoft account and the old one only shows my username
