How do I change my user name? Windows 11. No option available in control panel.

Hi, how do I change my user name on my Windows 11 machine please? I've trawled around the net looking for an answer and only found frustrating replies to use options not available on my machine (I hate Win 11 - reduced control from Win 7 and tears my hair out).I've gone onto control panel and onto my user but there is no option to change the name.I was never asked what I wanted my username to be and it has automatically used the first 5 letters of my email address.Why?
