How do I change my signing in from using a verification code to a regular password?

Whenever I try to log into Microsoft, it always sends me a code to my email to log in instead of simply putting in my password which would take way less time and effort. I'm not sure what is even different about this account in particular since my other two don't have that problem. Please, if there is any way to change how to sign in from using a code sent to my email to using a standard password, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
