How do I change my ethernet settings from Private to Public?

After turning off my WIFI and changing its settings, I see that my ethernet settings are on private instead of public. However, Windows10 has been updated and your old instructions on switching back and forth between the two no longer work. How do I switch them back to public?Thanks,Charlotte
