How do I change my Administrator email on my computer?

I need to change my email under Administrator on my computer because I'm trying to close a really old MSN account that I no longer use or want. I think I know how to do it from searching on here, but my questions are: 1) will I lose all of my files, applications, etc., if I create another profile (as instructed for changing my email) to switch it to?2) Is this the correct way to change my email on this computer?3) Does it have to be an MSN email?HELP!!
