How do I boot XP onto an older computer?

Hello,I am trying to boot XP onto a DELL Dimension 8110, but I'm having quite a bit of difficulty.I have tried to boot it from the ISO being burnt onto a disc, but this did not help. I kept getting the 'Diskette 0 seek failure' error, which I fixed by deactivating the non-existent floppy drive.Then I did some diagnostics. I learned that the CD Drive is fine, but on the Hard Drive test I received the error '0F00:0244', which is 'Unrecoverable data error or media is write protected.'So, my questions are:Is my Hard Drive dead? If so, would replacing it solve the issue? andHow else can I boot XP?I
