How do I access xbox gamepass

I made a local account on my pc and a little while ago I signed in with a microsoft account that has parental restrictions. Recently I have tried to buy xbox gamepass but It says I have to contact a parent. When I open the xbox app it has a popup saying I have to send a request to a parent. I did and the request got accepted, but I still cannot access gamepass.
