How do I access my SSD on a different computer?

My last laptop fell and the screen broke, So I removed the SSD since I couldn't get my data from that laptop to my new one. Currently, I am waiting on my new desktop computer so in the meantime I set up my old laptop temporarily. When I tried putting the SSD in, It says I need a bitlocker recovery key to use it. The problem is, I don't have the key since the laptop that SSD came out of is broken. I already tried accessing that laptop through microsoft, but it tells me I do not have associated recovery keys on that laptop that are linked to my account.
