I transferred around that amount of files from a failing hard drive to an external drive, to a new hard drive. i am also finding that windows updates are probably doing part of this.Not sure what to do about the space. some updates are security updates. this system's main hard drive is only 236 GB hard drive. i believe the last system only had one hard drive and it probably was a terabyte. it never was completely used. nevertheless, it wasn't full. This system has about all the same files, yet some stuff to substitute old things. I also think some things are not installed, and some may not be
