How can read old MMC ( Used in Nokia phone 2008) in my laptop

Hi there,I have a MMC ( RS MMC or MMC mobile) card which I've used in my old Nokia phone (2008 or 2009). I could connect these MMC card using a card reader to my old Acer laptop laptop ( Windows Vista) and it used to work fine. However after a long time I tried reading this card in my new laptop but it's not recognizing. I went through some online references and it says it could be due to the technology has changed or it's no longer supported. I was wondering is that if there is any work around. Please let me know. I have tried many card readers but to no avail..
