How can mirror my laptop screen to tv with HDMI

[Windows 11]

I connected my HDMI cord, one end to my tv and the other to my laptop, the tv displayed my laptop screen for a second and then went blank immediately. I repeated the process severally and same thing kept happening. I have checked to confirm that the cord is very okay and there's no loose connection. I have also restarted my laptop, but no progress. I played a video on my laptop and the audio came perfectly from my tv but the video did not display, the tv was showing no signal. I have also set the display to duplicate screen, but it's still not solved. What can I do pls?
