How can I wipe a HDD when disk manager will not let me delete the partitions?

I am trying to use my HDD for storage now that my SSD is installed and holds the cloned files from my HDD. I saw a similar question that suggested using disk manager, but the ability to delete the partitions as directed is grayed out. I am not even sure that this is how I should approach using my HDD as storage so please let me know if this is even what I am supposed to do. If so, is there another way to wipe a HDD?
