How can I upgrade from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro or Windows 11 Pro Education

I am a highschool teacher. I obtained a new laptop through DonorsChoose for my Journalism/Yearbook class for my students to work on the yearbook and edit photos. However, my school requires Windows Pro to operate on the network. Our work computers have Windows 11 Pro Education. How can I obtain an upgrade and what would it cost? I'm afraid I'm going to have to pay for the upgrade myself.
